I grew up in the small town of Poquott, New York but have called California home for the past nine years. I've driven across the US a few times and some of my favorite international destinations include the Caribbean, Central America and China. I bought my first professional DSLR (Nikon) in 2013 to take pictures of the night sky, but have been filming skate videos and shooting photos since my teenage years.

My love for nature is a constant motivation to head into the wilderness or go on night missions to capture the Milky Way. I shoot an eclectic mix of landscapes, portrait, and surf photography.

Joshua Tree has become my second home. Places like Baja, California, Yosemite, Utah, and Central America continue to drive the urge to explore and push my photography in new creative ways.

Although I can often be found searching for the darkest corners of the sky or the cleanest corners of the ocean, I look for every opportunity to get out there and document the vast lands with good people, fun times, and plenty of open road.

Exploration is in our nature. We began as wanderers, and we are wanderers still. We have lingered long enough on the shores of the cosmic ocean. We are ready at last to set sail for the stars.
— Carl Sagan

There' s something about being able to see the detail of the Milky Way that makes you realize we are floating through a vast, incomprehensible, space on a tiny rock.
